LAMBIE is a sweet little lamb (or sheep) crochet pattern, which would make a cute gift for Easter, Baptisms or Christenings, a soft toy for any age (newborn to adult!), or as an accessory for a child’s room. LAMBIE can be made with any yarn. This is an easy pattern to follow, with tutorial pictures, along with video links for the Magic Ring and the Invisible Decrease stitch.

Size of LAMBIE depends on yarn used. For example, Red Heart Super Saver yarn using a size H hook yields a LAMBIE approximately 9 1/2” tall. Crochet thread (size 5) using a size C crochet hook results in a lamb/sheep approximately 4 1/2” tall.

I recommend that you use a hook that is one size smaller than the recommended hook size on the label of the yarn you will be using.

Materials needed:
Yarn for face/head…contrasting color (approximately 1/4 skein)
Yarn for “hair, body and legs…main color (approximately 1/2 - 1 skein of yarn)
Small amount of black for “hooves” and face features.
Fiber fill
Safety eyes 10 mm or smaller

Gauge is not needed for this pattern.
