This headband consists primarily of the x-stitch, or crochet cross-stitch, along with the backward single crochet stitch, also called the reverse single crochet stitch. Instructions for these stitches are included.

The x-stitch is great for this accessory, as it is almost a doubled stitch, which creates more warmth for the wearer.

The pattern is for a woman’s 22” head, but can easily be increased or decreased for different sizes. (See instructions) The headband / ear warmers are 4 1/2” wide.

Yarn needed: 1 skein for the main color and 1 skein for contrasting color.
One Button needed: 1”
Darning needle for weaving in ends.
Crocheted flowers (instruction not included), beads, embroidery and/or buttons can be added for embellishments.

This Headband / Ear Warmers can be made in about 1 or 2 hours.
