Please note that this is my own original pattern. There are two of us who came out with a similar design around the same time. However, the patterns are different. The other person sells theirs, I give this away for free.

Since childhood, I have loved sheep and spent a lot of time in the pasture on our little farm, especially in lambing season!  Over the years, I have knitted or crocheted the designs of other people but I finally decided to create my own inspired by the cuteness factor, of course.  This version is for knitters and uses Lamb’s Pride (what else could one use?) and a skein of Ozark or other super-bulky handspun for the body.In my blog (August 9, 2008 entry) you can see the fun had by a classroom full of knitters creating a whimsical little flock of lambies!  I also am writing a crochet version of this design for those wonderful crocheters out there.  It should be up soon. The third photo down is made by Kyle Kunnecke from here on Ravelry who took the class last Saturday.  Is this the cutest or what?  The yarn he used for the face and legs is handspun from his rescued cat Winkie.  We all called him Elvis because of the black curl of hair between his ears.
