The Lanark Sweater is an oversized, drop-shoulder sweater, knit in Half Fisherman’s Rib and finished with a sewn-in zipper. The sweater is worked top-down, first flat and then in the round.

The samples were knit in Bare Naked Wools Kent DK (brown), West Yorkshire Spinners Jacobs Fleece DK (ecru), Tukuwool DK (blue) and Holst Supersoft held double.

Sizing
Recommended Ease: 10-15cm/4-6 inches positive ease

Knitting for men: This pattern was test knit for both men and women, when knitting for men, testers lengthened the body and the arms. No other modifications were necessary.
