This lap blanket was designed with the intention that the crafter would use the yarns included free with the magazine Let’s Get Crafting Knitting and Crochet. The yarn wrappers do not specify the length, only grams. The pattern states to use all the colours in the yarn pack to create a cosy blanket that is ideal for popping on a loved one’s knees to keep them warm. Six colours (skeins) are included with each magazine.

The repetitive design is incredibly mindful and the ultimate project for hunkering down with in front of your favorite winter television series. It’s also a great pattern to have in your collection for stashbusting!

No gauge is given in the pattern which is perfect for beginners.

A tapestry needle is also required.
