Lara Balloon - Up, Up and Away
The Lara hot air balloon pattern is part of the ‘Up, Up and Away’ collection. On its own it will allow you to create a beautiful crochet hot air balloon. Combined with the other patterns you can add characters to the basket and even turn this balloon into a stunning mobile. The Up, Up and Away series is a wonderful way of creating unique and beautiful gifts for loved ones. The full mobile with balloons and characters is a fantastic (and very special) baby shower/newborn gift, and the balloons on their own can appeal to people of all ages as they can be personalised, with your choice of colours and character, to fit the home decor and personality of all.
The pattern is written in UK terms. It is classified as ‘easy’ in accordance with CYC guidelines and is perfect for confident beginners looking to improve their skills and intermediate crocheters alike. There is minimal sewing and if you want to move beyond the basic shapes and create impressive and professional amigurumi designs this a the pattern for you.
The pdf is designed to be clear and easy to print or use on your choice of device. Step by step photographs are included as an appendix, and photo guides are provided for any special stitches used.
