This huge shawl is knitted side to side in an easy garter stitch pattern and alternated with an easy lace pattern while holding 2 strands double, changing only the mohair color (1 lace and 1 kid mohair, you will have 2 combinations or combo’s).

You can adjust the size to smaller or larger according your preference.

Gauge is not crucial for this project. However, changes might result in a different yardage consumption.

Needles: 4 or 4,5 mm(US7) needles, straight or 80 cm circular depending on your lace yarn (note in pattern)
tools: darning needle, 1 stitch marker

Yarn:
1 skein Manos del Uruguay Marina - Petrol
2 balls Rowan Kid silkhaze - Peacock
2 Balls Onion Silk+Kid mohair - Silver Grey (you can switch to Rowan kid silk haze if you prefer).

finished size:
± 55 height, wingspan ±350 cm

Alternative yarns:
The Coloured Cat Abyssinian Lace
The Coloured Cat Persian Fluff

You can also use a fingering yarns held single, I recommend knitting it not larger than 3.75 mm. You will need approximately 730 - 768 m
(I think it would also be nice in one fingering yarn and one kidmohair-silk on needle 3.5 / 3.75mm)
