ADULT LARGE CLASSIC THRUMMED MITTENS
Mitten pattern for the intermediate to advanced knitter

Double pointed needles, knitting in the round, increase & decrease, making & adding thrums

The classic thrummed mittens were designed using the traditional aspects of the classic eastern Canadian mittens. The pattern uses 100% wool and roving but the colour choice is yours, making them fun and modern. Thrummed mittens are made using tiny rovings that are knit into the mitten creating little hearts throughout, while making an insulating layer on the inside.

You will be working in the round with double pointed needles from the cuff up to the mitten top. This pattern has been modified from the original classic one size fits most to accommodate larger hands. Included are video tutorials and a pattern checklist on the last two pages to help keep track of your knitting progress.
