The pattern for this snowflake is written out in both US and UK terms on my blog. There is a guide to abbreviations on my blog and an explanation of any special stitches.

I make my snowflakes with 3-ply linen yarn and a 2mm hook, but any yarn can be used with the appropriate hook size. When made with 3-ply yarn the snowflakes measure 13.5 cm from tip to tip. The snowflakes need to be blocked when made and if hanging freely they need stiffening to keep their shape. I stiffen mine with a mixture of PVA glue and water.

You can get a PDF file with a photo tutorial of this snowflake along with the patterns for 2 other snowflakes here in my Ravelry store.
