The Larimar cowl pattern takes inspiration from a unique gemstone, exclusively found in the Dominican Republic, nestled in the Caribbean.

The Larimar cowl is a cosy, bandana-style accessory perfect for chilly weather.
It elegantly drapes around your shoulders and neck, providing warmth while its design ensures snugly fit around the neck, preventing the wind from seeping in.

The mosaic may appear complex, but don’t worry; it’s a fun and simple project.
The mosaic pattern begins with simple stitches and gradually becomes more complex row by row. Nonetheless, it remains a basic motif, making it perfect for those new to mosaic knitting.

The cowl is knitted as a single piece in the mosaic garter stitch, working back and forth in rows.

The yarn featured in the sample comes from Sweet Paprika Designs. It is named Minuet, made from 100% Merino wool, in the #Graphite and #Steel Rail Blues colourways.
