The LARINDA COWL is double-layered cowl that packs a whole lot of texture into a small accessory. It features bobbles, twisted rib and even simple lace to create a fun to knit and easy to wear cowl. The LARINDA COWL is knit in the round in one continuous piece and then folded over and joined during bind off for an extra cozy, double layered neck warmer.

SIZES: One size

MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 25.25” in circumference by 7.25” in height

YARN REQUIREMENTS
Fingering weight wool or wool blend, approximately 437 yards.

For best results, choose a yarn with good stitch definition.

Sample uses Knitcraft & Knittery fingering weight (100% sustainable Australian merino wool; 437 yards / 400 meters per 100 grams) in “Mother Knows Best”

You may also need an additional 10-20g of fingering weight yarn in a coordinating color (or the same yarn as your main yarn). The sample used all but several inches of a 100g skein of yarn. If your gauge varies from the sample, you may need more yarn to complete your cowl.

Suggested 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles, 16” in length

NOTIONS
Stitch marker, tapestry needle, blocking materials

GAUGE
Approximately 24 stitches x 32 rounds in stockinette stitch per 4 inches after blocking
