Last Frost is a top-down seamless yoked sweater with short sleeves. The yoke is cast on and worked down, the increases are worked in the stockinette sections around the colour-work, cable and lace patterning. Once the sleeves are separated, a straight body is worked down until a simple rib or repeating the lace patterning finishes it. The sleeves are placed back on the needles and a short section of lace patterning is worked to complete them. The neckband is picked up and finished again with the simple rib and then bound off.

If possible, try to use the same composition of yarn in all three colours to keep both stitch and row gauge consistent. The sample uses colours in a merino, silk, yak blend but you could use for example three 100% merino yarns.

This sample is knit using Happy-go-knitty Mardi yarn and kits featuring glorious colours are available, check out the testers versions also to see some of them!
