Last night I slept, and although it may have not been where or how I wished I was able to close my eyes and know I was safe. I didn’t worry if extremists would murder my children why I slept , if I would be turned away at a Nation’s border as the limit for how many they would accept was full. I wasn’t a statistic or a number.
