Perfect for anyone in the field of Lactation Consultations, here’s looking at you Dulas and Midwives!

This hand puppet was created to work alongside the Lactation breast pattern. It has been tested however, hand sizes are all different so the use of stitch markers is highly encouraged. When building the hand puppet symmetry is key. I also recommend using a medium tension, while you don’t want visible gaps, you also do not want pinched fingers.

I use cotton because it is easier to clean. I also shape my puppets with water and drying to help create a roundness to the puppet.

In this pattern we use rounds as well as rows. This pattern does include sewing.

I have previously used Sugar and Creams Cotton yarn to make most of the Aids that I sell. The most natural colours for skin tones I have come across are Ecru, Warm Brown, Jute and Coral Rose.

This pattern is also available in a bundle with the Breast Form accessory in my shop, and soon a three pattern bundle which includes the Anatomical Placenta and Breast Form accessory.

All pattern testers have done so out of kindness and because they like to crochet. While we try hard to provide them error-free a mistake or typo may slip through. If you do find an error please reach out to mme.lemew@gmail.com and I will try to respond as quickly as possible.

Thanks so much for your interest!
