LATE SUMMER TOP
Late Summer is a lightweight, airy mohair top designed for cooler summer days and evenings.
t is a design for a woman who loves freedom and comfort but does not want to give up a feminine touch. The delicate mohair fabric softly embraces the body, while the relaxed fit and deeper underarms make the top breathable and exceptionally comfortable.
Wear it on its own, over a bralette, or layered over a lightweight T-shirt.
Adjustable neckline and waist tie
Late Summer gives you the freedom to change the way you wear your top.
A first I-cord is threaded through a channel at the neckline, allowing you to adjust the depth and shape of the neckline.
The second I-cord works as a waist tie. You can leave it loose, tie it at the front or at the back, changing the look and character of the top.
Two underarm depth options
The pattern includes two underarm depth options – deeper and shallower.
You can choose the version that best suits your style and the way you want to wear the top.

Construction
Late Summer is knitted from the top down.
The front and back are worked separately, flat. The neckline is shaped using short rows, and the fabric is gradually increased. Once both sections are complete, they are joined in the round and worked to the desired length.
The bottom is finished with a decorative 2 × 2 lace rib, which keeps the edge light and prevents the top from pulling in.
It is a simple yet eye-catching construction that can be adapted to suit you.

The underarm depth depends on the option you choose.

5 mm – main body
4 mm – initial edging

Gauge
17 stitches × 19 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after washing and blocking.

Konstrukcja
Late Summer wykonujemy od góry do dołu.
Najpierw powstają osobno przód i tył, przerabiane na płasko. Dekolt formowany jest za pomocą rzędów skróconych, a następnie dzianina jest stopniowo poszerzana. Po wykonaniu obu części łączysz je w okrążenie i kontynuujesz pracę aż do uzyskania wybranej długości.
Dół wykończony jest dekoracyjnym ściągaczem 2 × 2 z ażurowym wzorem, który pozostaje lekki i nie zwęża topu.

To prosty w konstrukcji, ale efektowny model, który możesz dopasować do siebie.
