If you can Magic ring, chain, single, double, half double crochet, increase and decrease - you can make this coaster. The pieces will be sewn together also.

You will need:
hook 3.5 (or whatever you are comfortable with)
100% cotton yarn. A Worsted 4ply works best, but even those vary in thickness by brand. If using a thinner yarn you can double up on the coaster body to make it ‘stiffer’.

10mm - 12mm safety eyes
fibre-fill stuffing
scissors
stitch markers

This pattern has two sizes of coaster bodies.
A large coaster body is about 5 inches wide.
A small coaster body is about 4 inches wide.
This, of course, varies with yarn thickness, hook size and tension.
