The Lattice Phone Pouch is a mobile phone pouch designed to be worn crossbody, due to its long strap.
It is crocheted using only basic stitches: chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, and double crochet.
The front of the pouch features a mesh stitch pattern that keeps the screen visible, while the back is worked entirely in single crochet, ensuring the phone is well-protected when laid flat.
Very easy to make, the piece is seamless.
The strap is crocheted as a continuation of the pouch and joined at the end using slip stitches.

The written instructions are illustrated with numerous photos, and a detailed chart for the mesh stitch section is included at the end of the document.

The yarn used is a polyester macramé cord; compared to cotton, this provides a certain rigidity—a desirable quality for protecting a phone—and makes for a very durable finished product.
However, you can substitute it with any yarn of the same weight.

The Lattice Phone Pouch can easily be adapted to fit various phone sizes (or to accommodate finer yarn), and instructions for doing so are included.
