This is a pattern for a cute pocket shawl for your little ones! My youngest has recently taken to wrapping up in my shawls but they are just too big! This pattern reminds me of a wooden lattice garden trellis with the crossing of the stitches.

The shawl is roughly 45 inches long and 11 inches wide. You can always add more length with additional repeats to the body to fit 5-6 year olds as well. The gauge is not very strict on this one as it is not fitted.

Updated to add an adult size! Made with 2 and 1/2 Caron cakes and a J hook! The adult size is approximately 70 inches long and 16 inches wide. Perfect for matching your little one!

Gauge:
Adult is with a J hook 12 stitches × 9 rows = 4 inches
Toddler is with an I hook 13 stitches × 10 rows = 4 inches
