The Latticework Blanket is a classic textured blanket for baby knitted entirely in one piece.

The latticework stitch pattern is made up of alternating stocking stitch tiles bordered by garter stitch. Every right-side row of the blanket is a knit row.
The stitch pattern can be worked from the chart or the written instructions.
The blanket edges are bordered with garter stitch.

This baby blanket is suitable for newer knitters who have completed a few knitting projects and would like to tackle a larger knit. Knitters should be confident to cast on and cast off, and able to work knit and purl stitches in the same row.

The pattern includes some tips to assist with counting rows and reading your knitting to achieve success.

I have recently added some pics to show a colour blocked version using 3 colours. See details below for adjusting the pattern if you wish to make it in 3 colours.
