Final product is approximately 76” long & 21” wide - for an adult & can easily be adjusted smaller or larger. The adult size used approx. 500 yards (main colour) & 300 yards (contrast colour) of fingering weight yarn, less for DK weight.

This poncho is worked flat & seamed at the side, allowing an opening for the head.

Both the Skinny & Regular Flexee Looms were used during the design stages. However, ANY loom can be used to create this pattern.

Gauge is not important. Sport or fingering weight yarns of natural fiber will produce a lighter fabric with more drape, whereas bulkier yarns may produce a stiffer material.
