This sock begins with a “Slip Stitch Garter” cuff edging followed by a Latvian color pattern that uses the sun symbol. The Heel and Toe Stitch is used for the Dutch heel and the toe of the sock, making both very long-wearing. The pattern is written for a Woman’s Medium or Large. One sock can be knit with Koigu as main color and Naturespun as pattern color; the other can be knit with Naturespun as main color and Koigu as pattern color; or keep both the same. The cuffs are knit symmetrically (one cuff pattern slants to the right, the other to the left). This pattern was originally known as Slip Stitch Garter Socks.

Gauge of 8 (or 9) sts per inch in 2-color stranded pattern on size 2 needles.
1-2 skens of Koigu PPPM in a variegated of many light dusty colors
1-2 balls of Naturespun Sport Weight in Storm (dark brown)
