This cute hat will keep the little ones heads and ears warm this winter. Using bulky weight yarn, it knits up in no time, and makes an easy last-minute gift.

Suggested Yarn: One skein of Patons North America Classic Wool Roving (120 yards/110 meters for 100g) OR
Rowan Cocoon (126 yards/115 meters for 100g) OR any bulky weight yarn

Sizes available: XS (46 cm/18” head circumference, approx. 1 to 2 years old), S (50cm/19½“ head circumference, approx. 2 to 4 years old)

Gauge: 14 sts= 10cm/4” with US 10½ (6.5mm) needles (unblocked). Everyone’s tension is different. You may need to use a different needle size to achieve the required gauge.

This pattern uses the German short rows technique. Some helpful tutorials are suggested in the pattern in case you are not familiar with this technique.
