The quintessential mittens for the typical snowy day. Practice some easy colorwork and working in a couple of floats to keep your pattern tight and even.

Knit in the round, bottom up featuring a small fair isle pattern. The pattern is worked twice, once on the front and once on the back. I recommend floating the yarn between the pattern repeats.

Please make sure you check gauge! If you tend to knit tightly, I recommend moving up a needle size to a size 8 needle when you begin the fair isle pattern.
