If you’ve not tried double knitting yet, why not try it now? It really is a fascinating technique and a unique way to incorporate color into your knitting. Knitting and purling are all that’s required, you just need to remember to knit with one color and purl with the other. What you end up with is a mirrored pattern on each side of a two layered, truly reversible fabric. The Lavender Dance cowl is light, soft and warm and can be worn long or doubled around the neck for maximum versatility.

I have brief explanations of the technique in the written instructions and I have also included a link to a short video, https://youtu.be/-YHHFw3pS14, demonstrating the technique the way I did it. There are also numerous other videos out there; I’m sure you’ll find one that works for you so you can add double-knitting to your skill set.
