This shawl body is crescent shaped with garter stitch and eyelet worked from the bottom to the top with an I cord bind off. The shawl increases with an edge yarn over that is picked up for the bottom border.
The blocked out shawl size after drying is approximately 76 x 19” (193 x 48cm)
There is a yo at the beginning of every row.
The two colors are carried up the side of the shawl as you knit.
The final shawl used about 1 1/2 skeins of Madeline Tosh Curiosity (Lavender Color) and a little more than 1/2 of the skein of the white color.
You use a #5 US circular needle (3.75mm) for the entire shawl

Gauge is not that important. If you use a fingering weight yarn and a #5 US needle you should come out to a nice size shawl.
Pattern includes cast on and cast off instructions. Please use the cast off indicated in the pattern.
