Lacy summer top has scalloped hemline and halter neckline, tapered in to the waist the shape is flattering and feminine.
The garment was created using one 800 yard cone of Yeoman Perle 4ply corded cotton. The pattern was written using a Brother 950i knitting machine with separate lace carriage, however any standard gauge machine could be used with either a separate or combined lace carriage PROVIDING the lace carriage can be set to transfer stitches without knitting. Any alternative lace patterns could be substituted. Instructions for creating a lining if required, are also included (we recommend a lightweight stretch lining).
The pattern is one size (34-36”bust) some guidance on adaptation to other sizes has been included. The pattern as written requires a maximum of 132 needles so there is scope for increasing the size considerably.
The garment would also make a great evening top in a sparkly yarn or make
it longer as a dress!
Aimed at intermediate to advanced ability, the pattern is written in
text format.
Please note Ravelry have included tax at your local rate in the cost of this pattern.
