As the winter days get shorter, hat brims grow longer. The Lavender Sprig Hat has a deep brim that is designed to be folded double for extra warmth. The cable pattern is simple to memorize, so all you need to do is knit away!

YARN Kelbourne Woolens Andorra (60% merino wool, 20% highland wool,
 20% mohair; 185 yd / 1.75 oz): #057 cloud gray (MC), #105 snow white (A), and #516 lavender (B), 1 skein each.

NEEDLES Sizes 6 (4 mm), 4 (3.5 mm), and 2.5 (3 mm): 16″ circular. Size 4 (3.5 mm): set of double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTIONS Marker; cable needle; tapestry needle; waste yarn for provisional CO; size G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook.
