The Lavender Tank Top speaks summer in every line of its silhouette. Knit in delicate, recycled-silk yarn, this airy tank is worked back and forth in pieces from the bottom up and seamed. The front panels wrap around slightly to the back. The tank is finished with I-cord spaghetti straps.

Yarn Darn Good Yarn Lace Weight Silk (100% recycled silk; 300 yd 274 m/1¾ oz 50 g): Grandma’s Silver, 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins.

Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTES

  • This tank top is worked in two pieces from the bottom up and seamed.

  • The front includes all three lace panels and wraps slightly to the back. The front is sewn to the back, leaving 3” open at bottom of each seam for vents. The waist includes gentle shaping. I-cord spaghetti straps finish the tank top.

  • Slip stitches purlwise with yarn in back on right-side rows and with yarn in front on wrong-side rows.

  • Work with two strands of yarn held together throughout.
