I’m totally on the Caron Cakes band wagon right now.
And you know I love a sweet treat.
Here’s a three layer ‘cake’ to keep you warm this winter! Best part, it only uses half a cake so you can make a matching cowl or mittens!

Rather than actually write out all of the stitch instructions, I am giving links to the tutorials I used for each section of the hat. I did write out the pattern for the top-most section as I could not find it online anywhere. If you know another name for it please share it so I can add a link :D

This creation was just a semi-random selection of stitch patterns I like that I thought would work together. You can absolutely sub any one of them out for something you like more (just remember who got ya started)

At the time that I knit this, I didn’t count the rows, I just worked to the end of a colour section and then started the next stitch pattern. I added aproximate row counts though for people who want to sub yarns.

Make one for yourself, as a gift or to sell at the market but let them know who’s pattern it is!

Stay Craf.t :)
