Layken Pullover
Layken Pullover
There’s something magical about the surface of a lake. Toss in a pebble and gentle ripples stretch outward, one after another. Arrive early enough in the morning and that same water can be perfectly still, smooth as glass beneath the crisp morning air.
The Layken Pullover was inspired by both. Knit it in stripes for the playful movement of rippling water, or choose a single beautiful shade for the quiet simplicity of a still lake.
Worked seamlessly from the top down with classic raglan shaping, Layken features simple 1x1 ribbing at the neckline, cuffs, and hem. Choose the standard sweater length, or add a few extra inches for a cozy tunic length that’s especially lovely with leggings.
Knit in Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino, Layken works up surprisingly quickly while creating a beautifully polished fabric. And with Knitting for Olive’s gorgeous range of elevated colors, you may find yourself dreaming up your second one before the first is even off the needles.
