This is a lovely 3-dimensional afghan / blanket pattern to use all those odd balls of yarn you have in your wool stash!

The pattern contains step-by-step photos of the “make” together with some tips and variations.

Also included is a file showing how to complete some basic stitches and techniques used in the afghan.

It can be made in any size (the instructions show a 5 x 6 square design).

For a 5 x 6 blanket you will need:

• 1 x 5mm crochet hook
• Various 100g balls of Double Knitting wool
(or similar weight yarn) in the following:
> 1 x Orange/Yellow for daisy centre
> 2 – 3 x White for daisy petals and borders.
> 1 x each of the 6 main colours

100g ball of a colour should make at least 5 squares depending on your tension.

You will also need:
• A darning needle
• Scissors
• Pins
• Equipment to “block” the squares
(see the Blocking section for more details).
An ironing board with a towel wrapped around will do.

Please note that no tension requirements are given, as the size is not crucial. However, the measurements given assume daisy squares of approximately 6.5” x 6.5” (16.5 cm x 16.5 cm).
