The sample is knitted with SuriPaco Eastport Collection DK yarn. In normal stockinette, this yarn would get about 5 stitches/8 rows per inch at stitch size 4 on the bulky or 6-7 on the mid- gauge machine. Any fluffy, DK yarn may be used on a mid-gauge or bulky gauge machine with a ribber. A second gauge is given so that those with standard gauge Japanese machines and Passap machines may also knit the design using a soft fluffy yarn that would normally get about 7 stitches/10 rows per inch. Machines vary widely in precise gauge at any given stitch dial setting. Because this fabric is quite sensitive to the perfect adjustment, it is important to swatch to find the perfect setting for your machine. Finished camisole is 3234, 36” around the bust. Length of the back, not including straps is about 11.5”. Front will be a little longer where the drop needle lace motif occurs.

The DKsample camisole used 8 oz. of alpaca yarn.
