This pattern was inspired by the console game LittleBigPlanet. After playing the game, who wouldn’t want a little SackBoy of their own? And once you have one, you need outfits for him, right?

This crochet pattern is provided in US terms.

A basic understanding of amigurumi crochet, working in continuous rounds, is required to complete this pattern. Yarn, hook and gauge used will alter the finished size.

This costume is designed to be worn by a SackBoy created using the pattern designed by Emjay Bailey of nerdigurumi.com. Consistency of hook, yarn and gauge between both patterns is important. This costume is not guaranteed to fit any other SackBoys, however it does fit my husbands official SackBoy figurine (12” approximate high).

Required Supplies:
Yarn: 8ply / DK / Worsted Weight -- Quality Acrylic or Acrylic Blend is recommended.
Hook: 4.00mm / UK 8 / US G-6 & 3.00mm / UK 11 / US D-3 (Approximate)
Yarn Colours: Yellow -- Red -- Light Green -- Light Blue -- Black -- White -- Brown -- Dark Green

Additional Tools:
Embroidery Needle
Scissors
Polyester Filling
Two 12” (30cm) pipe cleaners, Red or White

Stitches/Terms Used:
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase
sc2tog = single crochet two stitches together
BLO = Back Loop Only
FLO = Front Loop Only
ch = chain
st = stitch
hk = hook
rnd = round
