Le Radieux is my intarsia homage to Le Corbusier’s Cité Radieuse: architectural geometry and the shafts of light it creates dissolved into stitches; modernism rendered in wool!

This raglan sweater is worked flat, from the top down. You begin with two front yoke triangles, shaped with increases and joined at the neckline. Raglan increases continue as you work the front panel in Intarsia. Once the raglan depth is reached, you cast on 6 stitches at each underarm and continue the chart straight down. The back and sleeves are then worked flat in Intarsia. Finally, seam the raglan edges and sides, work the neckband in the round, and finish with unattached bottom ribbing for a loose fit, with the back slightly longer than the front.
