The Lea beanie is worked in rib (p1, k1) and has a flexible fit due to the ribbed pattern. The beanie is soft and warm, has a chunky look and an extra thick and wide folded hem. The beanie can be knit for kids, teens and adults. It is worked bottom up in the round on a circular needle. You start with the folded hem, turn the beanie inside out and continue in the established rib pattern. Adjust the beanie’s length to your desire, depending on whether you prefer a tighter or baggier look. Finally, work decreases at the top.
