The cardigan is worked in the round from the top down, then steeked along the center front, and stitches are picked up to work the front bands. The patterned bands on the yoke are worked using the stranded colorwork technique. A sewn steek is used to ensure the stability of the steek. The cable and colorwork patterns are given in chart form only.
