The Leaf Chaser Mitts are a cozy pair of cabled fingerless gloves. The extra long length and luscious, deep cables make for the perfect accessory on a chilly fall day! Choose a semi-solid or subtly variegated sport or dk weight yarn, and watch your stitches come alive!

Yarn: Pattern is written for two yarns: Weston Hill Farm’s DK (100% Wool; approx. 250 yards/skein): 1 skein Gold OR Weston Hill Farm’s Light Sport (100% Wool, approx. 250 yards/skein): 1 skein Cranberry. Similar dk or light sport weight yarns may be substituted.

Needles: DK weight: Size 4 (3.5 mm); Sport weight: Size 3 (3.25 mm) double-pointed or long circulars for magic loop technique.
Notions: Two cable needles, stitch markers, scrap yarn or holder, tapestry needle.

Gauge: DK weight: 24 sts and 32 rounds = 4” in st st; sport weight: 27 sts and 36 rounds = 4” in st st. Take time to save time: knit a swatch! Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain gauge.
