This easy, beginner-friendly Leaf Cowl is knitted using chunky yarn for extra warmth and cosiness. The cowl is worked entirely in the round, so there are no purl rows to worry about! You can easily adjust the width and height to suit your personal preference, making it as snug or as generous as you like.

MATERIALS: 1 skein pastel green chunky yarn 100 g/ 110 m

NEEDLES: One 40 cm (16 in) circular needle in 7 mm (UK 2), or a longer circular needle for the magic loop method.

NOTIONS:
Stitch marker, Tapestry needle

KNITTING GAUGE: 14 sts and 17 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4 in) in stocking stitch (knit on RS rows, purl on WS rows) using 7 mm needles.
Needle size is a guide only. Adjust your needle size if necessary to achieve the correct tension.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

• Width: 58 cm (22.83 in), or to your desired width.
• Height: 21 cm (8.27 in), or to your desired height.
