This pattern shows you how to create a simple leaf but I designed it to complement my Leaf Flower Purse pattern (check it out, link below) as an embellishment. To create the leaves I attached to the purse I used Loops & Threads Silky Soft Rayon From Bamboo Light 3 yarn in three different colors, Banana, Pink Pearl, and Violet. The leaf comes in only one size. The yarn I use in this pattern is I Love This Cotton! Super Soft … Super Savings! (color – Curry) 100% Cotton – medium 4 (worsted). To complete one leaf you need less than 5 yards of I Love This Cotton yarn. The approximate finished measurement of one leaf is 2 1/2” long and 1 1/2” wide. I used 20 leaves to attach to the purse. Give it a try and see how yours comes out.
