A nature-inspired hobo bag that features a unique leaf panel on both sides of the bag. Simple twisted stitches and a fun cabled panel travel up the bag, and you finish off with some side pleats and a gorgeous herringbone stitch on the band.

Pattern Notes
- Bag starts at the bottom with a wide panel knitted flat. The sides are then picked up and the bag is worked in the round to the top. The band is also worked flat and then seamed at the end.

• You do not need a cable needle for the sides of the bag, but it is recommended for the leaf panels, due to the twisted stitches. Directions for simple twists are given with or without a cable needle.

This is an advanced beginner/intermediate pattern - you need to be able to do basic cables, pick up stitches, work textures stitch patterns and use a chart. Currently, leaf panel is only charted.

20 sts & 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch on size US 6 / 4 mm needles
