This Crochet Leaf Wall Hanging was made after I finished with my Flower Garland and Falling Flowers Garland pattern and tutorial I still had one more wall that needed a piece of art on the wall. I didn’t want to use the same pattern as before, so I made bigger leaves with borders to really show the color of the leaves. It was a great way to use of my left over scrap yarn from the other two projects.

I used 7 colors total, but not all colors where used to make the leaves. I used 4 colors to make 12 leaves. Though I didn’t end up using all the leaves and made a chain of leaves for my son to hang in his room.

So 4 different colors I used to make the leaves and then I would vary the colors that I used to make the border around the leaf. I used a medium brown for my stem color.

No certain pattern, just went with what looked good, then I would sl st to connect it, then nail the end of the chain to the wall. I will show you what I did.
