Patterns #17 and 18 on pages 37, 38 in Decorative Crochet. Photo on page 41. This pattern is the same for both, the only difference in the two patterns are the color combinations.

The colored version is called Irish Rose in Laceworks.

According to the pattern: For white mat: 315 yards. For multi color mat, about 215 yards white, about 75 yards green and small amount each of violet, mauve and yellow.

Square doily includes center flower, 4 groups of 7 leaves and square border.

Stitches include chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, double treble crochet and 5 double crochet clusters.
