Leafy Baby Hat is a seamless lace baby hat knitting pattern worked in the round using sport-weight yarn, designed to match the Leafy Baby Blanket for a perfect baby gift.

Knitting in the round makes following the lace pattern a bit easier. So if you a beginner and consider making both the hat and the blanket, I recommend starting with the hat.

At the moment, the pattern only includes newborn size (0-3 months, 30-35 cm / 12-14 in head circumference), made from sports yarn on 3mm/US size 2 ½ needles.

Testers report that

• worsted weight + 4.5mm/US7 needles give 6-9 months size
• bulky + 6mm/US 10 needles result in an adult M
