This easy circle scarf knitting pattern is simple to knit, yet very interesting. You will be knitting back and forth, therefore, no double pointed or circular needles are needed. The neck part is holding its stretch thanks to an effortless Garter stitch, the lacy flowery pattern is adding a pleasing effect and small elegant leaves give a charming frame to the cowl.

Size for this cowl:

• The stretched circumference of the neck is 54 cm / 21 inches (5 pattern repeats worked). If you’d like to have a looser cowl then work 6 pattern repeats.
• Hight of the neck part is 14 cm / 5.5 inches (height of the rolled down the neck is 7 cm / 2,8 inches).
• Length of the patterned part from neck to top-down is 22 cm / 8,6 inches.

In order to knit this scarf, you’ll need:

• longer needles size 3,5 mm / US 4 / UK 10 (or circulars);
• markers;
• 150 g / 573 yds of 4 ply fingering yarn (I used DROPS Baby Merino)
