Leah Cardigan
Leah Cardigan is a V-neck cardigan with leaf-patterned sleeves. It’s a new addition to the Leah collection in adult sizes. It can be worn open or buttoned, with jeans or over a dress — however you like.
The Leah Cardigan is knitted top-down with raglan increases. The cardigan is worked back and forth on circular needles. The front and back pieces are worked in stockinette stitch, while the sleeves feature a beautiful leaf pattern. The work is divided for sleeves and body, and each section is then finished separately. The body is completed with a wide ribbing and an Italian bind-off. The sleeves are worked in the round on circular needles in a textured pattern, and they also end with ribbing and an Italian bind-off. The button bands are made last by picking up stitches starting at the right front, continuing around the neckline, and down the left front. The bands are then worked in double knitting, including buttonholes.
