The Leaning kerchief is knitted on the bias. You might have gotten this knit kit in one of our Mystery bags for the holiday season of 2022.

You’ll love this easy breezy project as it makes for great TV knitting. Knitted sideways with one side being increased and the opposite side being decreased. The pattern is fully written and offers a schematic as well.
The blocked shawl measures 51“ in overall length tip to tip, 11“ in height and can be made as long as you like with more yarn added.

5 portions in 40 yards each, 5 colors, DK, thick and thin fingering, fingering weight per skein. 200 yards in total. Thera re four color ways to choose from.

Notions needed
Us size 10 (6 mm) circular needle 24” (61 cm) in length.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge: 5 sts and 6 rows in 2” of stockinette stitch in DK weight.

Techniques applied
Knitted and purled flat, slipping stitches, yarn overs, increasing, decreasing, binding off, weaving in ends and blocking.
