Inspired by Sea Turtles Forever, an awesome non-profit group that patrols beaches in Costa Rica protecting sea turtle nests from egg poachers, works to educate the public and helps with cleanup and habitat conservation. Check them out sometime!

This pattern is worked in the round, with the exception of the shell top, which is crocheted in rows of single & half double crochet through the back loops (creating the shell ridges).

Worsted weight yarn and an E (3.5mm) or F (3.75mm) size hook is suggested, however any hook/yarn combination that produces a tight stitch (so that the stuffing won’t peek through) can be substituted.
