Leaves Socks are delicate lace socks with a beautiful botanical pattern that looks elegant, airy, and timeless.

The lace motif creates a soft leaf-like texture, making these socks a lovely project for knitters who enjoy detailed but relaxing sock knitting. The pattern is worked cuff-down on double-pointed needles, with a heel flap, gusset, and Kitchener stitch toe.

This pattern includes both written round-by-round instructions and a lace chart, so you can choose the format that works best for you.

Sizes

The pattern is written for 3 sizes:

Size EU shoe size US women’s shoe size
Size 1 EU 36–37 US 5–6
Size 2 EU 38–39 US 7–8
Size 3 EU 40–41 US 8.5–10

All sizes are worked with the same stitch count: 56 sts.

The final size is adjusted by changing the needle size, yarn thickness, and gauge.

The foot length is adjustable.

Recommended yarn:
Sock yarn with approximately 75% wool / 25% polyamide
For the original sample, I used:

  2. Size 2: 2.5 mm double-pointed needles
