This shawl was thought as wedding gift.
Knitting begins with three little stitches. The number of stitches increases on right-and left side rows , and the triangle turns into a shawl. You could had as many repeat of chart as you wish to modify the depth of the shawl.

2 sizes, knit in combined yarn

Yarn:

Small: Myak BABY YAK LACE, Lace - 2 Ply (100% baby Yak, 347 m / 380 yards per 50g skein); 1skein
Sample uses colour Midnight Blue.
The Uncommon Thread HEAVENLY LACE - 2 Ply (70% alpaga, 20% silk, 10% cachemire , 805 M /880 yards per 100g skein); 1skein, Sample uses colour coven

Large: Squoosh fiberarts, MERINO CASHMERE LACE - 2 Ply (80% merino, 10% cashmere 10% nylon; 521 m/ 570 yds per 114 g skein); 1 skein, Sample uses colour Ochre
Cascade yarns BABY ALPACA LACE - 2 Ply (100% baby alpaga, 400 m / 437 yards) yds per 50g skein); 2 skeins Sample uses colour 1413 gris clair

yardage given is for COMBINED yarn; so as size small calls for 200 yds, it requires 200 yds of the BABY YAK LACE, plus 200 yds of baby alpaga yarn. Same principle for large shawl.

Dimensions ( after wet blocking) and quantity:
small: 40cm (15.75in)x 120 cm (47,25in) yardage calls for 200 m
large: 60cm(23.5in) x 180cm (70,75in) yardage calls for 450 m

Gauge in pattern:(after wet blocking)
Shawl: 31 sts and 35 rows to 10cm (4in) over stich pattern.
Wrap: 30 sts and 34 rows to 10cm (4in) over stich pattern.
adjust needle size if necessary to abtain the correct gauge
Gauge and needle size are suggestions only. Individual knitting style and yarn characteristics affect the lace, so adjust needle size to get preferred results.
