Pattern Description from One Skein: “Widely popular in the 1980s, leg warmers are making a comeback. And for good reason. Not only are they a great beginner project, they really do keep your legs warm. This pair has a subtle rib at one end and a lace pattern at the other, with smooth stockinette stitch in between. Wear the lace panel at the top or bottom, and add a silk ribbon for a romantic touch.”

Finished Size: About 9.5” (24 cm) circumference and 13.5” (34.5 cm) long.

Yarn: Sportweight (CYCA Fine #2) yarn. Louet Gems Opal (100% merino wool, 225 yd 206 m/100 g): French blue.

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): set of 4 or 5 double-pointed. Change needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle; two 22” (56 cm) lengths of 3.8” (1-cm) ribbon (optional).
